More than a quota meter

Quota is where it starts. Lenz also shows what the work costs, what your agents do, and how your Mac holds up.

Quota

Know before you hit the limit.

Every 5-hour and weekly window of each account: how fast you are using it, when it resets, and how many sessions are left at this pace. Claude, Codex and Gemini models side by side.

Quota page: a ring for the 5-hour and weekly windows, the pace of use, and the time until reset

Cost

See what your plan is really worth.

Lenz converts tokens with known API rates into a cost, by day, account and agent. Compare that with what the plan costs you, and see which subscription gives you the most for each dollar.

Cost page: tokens and API cost of each agent and account for today, this week and this month

Sessions and tools

See what your agents actually do.

Claude Code sessions with model, length, cost and peak context. Calls that rewrote a cold cache. Tools and MCP servers by calls and error rate, including those loaded but unused.

Sessions page: each Claude Code session with its model, cost, calls, peak context and cold cache cost

Hardware and storage

Your Mac, under agent load.

CPU used by agents and their child processes, memory pressure, swap, thermal state and free disk. The Storage page finds the build caches, logs and transcripts that fill your disk.

Hardware page: CPU, memory, swap, GPU, disk and thermal state of the Mac, with CPU charts for the whole Mac and for agents

Advice

One list of what to fix.

Unused plugins and idle MCP servers that still load into every session, cold cache costs, memory and disk running low. Each hint links to the page with the numbers. Advice only suggests; you decide what to change.

Storage

See what is filling your disk.

Scan on demand to measure build caches, logs and agent transcripts. Start with the largest folders. Lenz never deletes data automatically.

Separate rebuildable caches, items to review and data to keep.

Storage & code maps a folder you choose. Compare file sizes, and count code lines when scc is installed on your Mac.

Your numbers stay on your Mac.

No Lenz server

No account, no sign-up, no cloud of ours. For quota, Lenz asks the providers you already use, with the sign-in you already have.

You make every change

Lenz reads logs and settings by itself. It changes a setting, such as turning a plugin off, only when you click.

Counts, not content

Lenz counts tokens, calls and errors on your Mac. Your prompts, code and conversations are never uploaded.

History on your Mac

Lenz keeps its history in one database file in Application Support on your Mac.

Mac first. Phones and Windows later.

The first release is Lenz Desktop for macOS. Apps that show your Mac's numbers on iPhone, iPad and Android, with home screen widgets, come next, then Windows.

Questions

Which agents does Lenz read?

Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, Grok Build and OmniRoute. Claude Code has the most detail today: sessions, skills, plugins and tools.

What does Lenz read on my Mac?

The logs and settings that your agents keep on your Mac, to count sessions, tokens, cost and tool errors. For quota, Lenz asks each provider with your existing sign-in, for example Claude Code's. Nothing goes to a Lenz server.

Does Lenz use up my quota?

No. Lenz only asks how much you've used; it never sends Claude a request.

Is there a Windows or Android version?

Not yet. Lenz Desktop for macOS comes first. Apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, and Lenz Desktop for Windows, come later.

How do updates work?

An Update button is on the way: one click will download the new version, check its signature, install it and restart the app. Until then, download new versions from this page.
